These za’atar rolls taste great, look great, and take only 20 minutes of preparation. They are full of taste and the perfect afternoon snack and also great to accompany any meal. Take them to a gathering with friends and you will leave everybody impressed.
Ingredients
- 1 dough of puff pastry
- 3 tbsp of za’atar
- 6 tbsp of olive oil
- 65g of sundried tomatoes (soaked in olive oil)
- 20g of grated parmesano cheese
Method
1. On a lightly floured surface spread out the dough in the shape of a rectangle.
2. In a small bowl, mix the za’atar with the olive oil
3. Spread the za’atar and olive oil evenly over all the dough.
4. Finely chop the sundried tomatoes and scatter evenly over all the dough.
5. Scatter the grated parmesan evenly over all the dough.
6. Starting with the long side of the dough, roll the dough inwards to form a cylinder.
7. Slice the cylinder into around 1 cm thick rolls.
8. Layout the rolls on a baking tray.
9. Put in the oven for around 15-20 min until golden.
